What is EMFace?

EMFace is BTL Aesthetics’ newest device, revolutionizing facial aesthetics without needles, surgery or downtime. EMFace uses two therapies in a single 20 minute treatment – High Intensity Facial Electrical Stimulation (HIFES) and Synchronized Radiofrequency (RF). HIFES targets the elevator muscles in the forehead and cheeks to increase muscle density and lift tissue. Simultaneously, radiofrequency (RF) energy stimulates new collagen production and restructures elastin. The result is smoother, tighter, redefined facial features.

What happens during an EMFace Treatment?

A single EMFace treatment is short and only takes about 20 minutes. While lying down in a treatment chair, single use applicator pads will be placed on your forehead and each cheek. These applicators deliver RF heat and HIFES energy to contract your facial muscles and tighten skin. Approximately 75,000 muscles contractions in a single treatment.

Does EMFace Hurt?

How Long is The Downtime?

One of the best things about EMFace is there’s simply no downtime. You can return to work and continue your normal daily activities right after treatment.

How Fast Will I See Results from EMFace?

After your first EMface treatment, you can experience an immediate lifting effect but optimal results will occur about 8-12 weeks after the fourth treatment. We recommend about four EMFace sessions for patients, although needs vary from person to person.

How Many Sessions of EMFace Do I Need?

We recommend at least four EMFace treatments, spaced 5-10 days apart. Just like with any treatment at Center, an individualized treatment plan will be created for you during your consultation as needs vary from patient to patient and are dependent on many factors such as anatomy, clinical aging and the patient’s desired outcome.
