How Acorn YOU™ Works

Step 1: Hair Follicle Collection

A small sample of healthy hair follicles is comfortably collected during your office visit. This quick, minimally invasive process includes plucking hair follicles using Acorn’s collection kit.

Step 2: Laboratory Processing

Your hair follicle sample is sent to Acorn's specialized laboratory, where it is carefully processed under controlled conditions.

Step 3: Your Personalized Secretome Is Created

Your hair follicle cells naturally produce a personalized collection of regenerative signaling molecules—including exosomes, growth factors, cytokines, peptides, and other proteins. Together, these molecules are known as your personalized Secretome.

Step 4: Treatment at Center

Once your personalized Secretome is ready, it is shipped back to Center and we store it until you are ready to use. Depending on your goals, your provider may apply it on its own or combine it with microneedling, laser resurfacing, or other collagen-stimulating procedures to optimize delivery.

Step 5: Natural Regeneration

Your personalized Secretome works by supporting your body's natural repair processes. Over time, patients may experience improvements in skin quality, texture, collagen production, and overall skin health. The same regenerative technology can also be used to support natural hair restoration when appropriate.
